Visiting Us
An appointment is required to visit us and this is without exception as we operate both virtual and in person consultations and are located in a private dwelling situated in a private working farm. We are not a ‘wig shop’ in that we do not operate as a walk in business with opening hours for the general public. Instead, we provide a consultation service via a handful of appointments each week with the aim of helping other women find wigs and hairpieces when dealing with hair loss and hair thinning, using both our personal experience of hair loss and our specialist knowledge. There is a small consultation fee of £10 payable if a booking is confirmed.

Every enquiry is reviewed before an appointment is offered. We may telephone for additional details as it is helpful to have a range of options in the right colour and style ready for you to try. An enquiry is not a booking and does not create an appointment. If we are able to help, we will contact you to arrange a suitable time. The location is loved by clients due to the lovely views and gardens, however as it is set within a private working farm, there is farm machinery moving around, dogs, farmers, and sometimes the drive is closed due to the need to move cattle, sheep, and materials. We coordinate appointments around the farm activities. Please see our booking form for terms and conditions. We provide wig and hairpiece consultations for women navigating hair loss or thinning hair in a female led, tranquil and private space. We know how important this is to both ourselves as females with hair loss and the women who visit us as hair loss or thinning can be a very emotional and private matter. As can the reasons for hair loss. The service aims to provide our clients with a private and safe experience.
You are very welcome to contact us by email or phone and we will respond as soon as possible. Please bear in mind we are often with clients and if we don’t respond immediately, we will contact you when we are free. We are available by telephone on Mondays to Friday between the hours of 9am and 3pm. On Saturdays you can telephone us between the hours of 10am and 4pm. You can email us to enquire about an appointment. We are not available on Sundays. As we see many women dealing with hair loss as a result of other medical conditions, such as those navigating chemotherapy, we try to be flexible in opening up an extra appointment. We understand sometimes hair loss can be sudden. If you urgently need an appointment, we will try and be flexible.
If you bring a dog along, please ensure your dog remains with you at all times and must always be on a lead as there is livestock in the surrounding fields as well as farm machinery operating.
Access
Please only access the boutique and the carpark as the fields, surrounding land, farm roads and tracks again contain livestock or may have farm machinery operating. You will need to access our location by car as there are no walkable paths from public transport links to our location.
Nearby
Some of our customers travel from quite a distance away and we are lucky to be so centrally located. Our consultations are available to mainland UK residents. There is a wonderful coffee shop and garden centre a few hundred metres from us called Woodlands. And if you would like to make a day of it, Beamish Museum is a few miles from us, a must see when visiting the North East. Durham City is also a 10 minute drive from us.
