VAT and NHS Vouchers
Many people who have long term hair loss like we ourselves have will often opt for human hair as they will last longer (with proper care) and just feel like our hair. There is no other way to describe it. In which case you would probably be eligible for VAT relief on your wig (please check HMRC). However, in the case of long term hair loss you probably already know whether you are. We can process this for you.
We cannot accept NHS vouchers as of yet. Due to the fact it isn’t just a business for us, we may not go down this road as we would be much busier and our business would change. There wouldn’t be the same time to spend with people. It was never about being business entrepreneurs or having the biggest business in starting our business. It has always been about providing a service which helps others using our own experience of hair loss. Having dreamt about starting up for 15 years it was only turning 50 which made me realise it was now or never.
In short, we offer complimentary consultations which some places charge for. We have a really special, relaxed, private, farm setting. You are speaking to someone who understands first hand what hair loss is about. You can read about our journey here. So if going through chemotherapy, starting to face hair loss or looking for something to give volume and you want, in the midst of all the change you are facing, to feel supported, feel free to book a consultation. You can then visit us and bring along a friend or family. The consultations too are really personal. We have the time to listen and it doesn’t end when you leave with your wig or hairpiece. It’s nice to support afterwards and to see people or hear from people further along their journey.
